Apple today announced the release of updates for Mac OS 10.13.3, iOS 11.2.6, TVOS 11.2.6 and watchOS 4.2.3
These are minor updates with major ones coming later this year
mac OS High Sierra 10.3.3 Supplementary Update
Apple released the mac OS High Sierra 10.3.3 Update in early January to help with the Meltdown and Spectre vunereablitlities.
This new update addresses a bug that causes programs like Messages, and Safari to crash when a character from and Indian language called Telugu is sent, received or entered into an app.
To install go the App Store, in the Dock, Applications Folder or under the Apple menu and click on Update beside the mac OS High Sierra 10.3.3 Supplementary Update line.
iOS update 11.2.6
Just as for the Mac OS Apple have released an update for iOS to fix a crash caused when using Messages, Facebook and WhatsApp with the Telugu language.
To install the update go to Settings/General/Software updates.
In order to run the update you will need to either be plugged into power or have more than 50% battery power.
tvOS update 11.2.6
Apple released an update today for fourth and fifth generation Apple TV's
Unlike the Mac OS and iOS updates this release is for bug fixes and other under-the-hood improvements, which focus on performance improvements
If you have automatic updates turned on on your Apple TV you do not need to do anything. Should you not have it turned on go to Settings/System/Software Update.
watchOS update 4.2.3
this update addresses an number of minor bug fixes since the release of watchOS 4.2.2 in January, specifically a fix for the Telugu character issue.
You need to run the update from your iPhone, through the Apple Watch app, so make sure you have updated your iPhone before your watch.
